She made sure to make a mental note about their little meetings. “Also I can see right through that little lie about the dress you just to make yourself seem bigger. Or to try and make me jealous trust me chicky I am not stupid like you.” Carmen loved how she could tell when someone was lying she. This was not the first time she caught her lying in this little run in.

How had Carmen found out? And, more importantly, who else knew? It'd only be a matter of time till it got back to Luci. Adelyn's stomach flipped at the thought. Taking a deep breath, she tried to regain her composure. Then, she turned to face Carmen. If looks could kill, she was sure Carmen would be dead. "You were spying on me!" It took everything she had to keep from yelling as she stepped closer to Carmen. She had considered lying, but that hadn't turned out so well this far. Besides, she was too ticked to even begin to tell a good lie right then. "Who else knows?" She demanded. "I'm not stupid. In fact, I do have a dress. It's custom made and probably upstages any of your little thrift-store dresses," Adelyn stated stubbornly. She owned plenty of party dresses, but none of them were what she was wearing to her party. She was going to find something much more amazing for that. I was simply talking to Michelle Cater and when I was showing him the way back to camp I heard you and Mitchell’s little brother talking. I would not have even known if it was Alex if his brother did not tell me.” Carmen told her. “Don’t worry I did not tell anyone I was waiting to use it against you some day and well it seems as if that day is today.” Carmen told her before stepping closer. “Please I met five year olds that were better liars then you. You may have many dress at home but I know you, you are not a dress repeater you are just saying that to make it seem like you were telling the truth then as soon as we are done her you’re going to ask your dad or someone to drive you to the mall to pick out a dress.” Carmen told her hoping to freak her out. “ Word of advice never lie around me.” Carmen told her.

She hated to let Carmen see her like this. This was the last thing she needed. If Carmen told anyone her relationship with Alex and her friendship with Luci would be at stake. She gripped the strap of her purse tightly as she studied Carmen. "You can't tell anyone! Especially not Luci! I want- I need to tell her myself!" Adelyn blurted. She paused, frowning at how desperate she sounded. Adelyn James did not to desperate. Taking a break, Adelyn slid her sunglasses to the top of her head and studied Carmen. "What will it take to keep my secret... a secret?" She asked, folding her arms. "Money? Some good rumors spreading around? Me to show up at your party?" She suggested. This was a big problem in her eyes. What would Alex say when he found out that someone else knew? "I can lie. But, I'm not lying... I mean, I have a dress to wear to that party!" Adelyn insisted. "And, besides that, my parents don't ever drive me anywhere. They work most of the time. If I want I ride then I have to talk some older kid into taking me. And fine! Maybe I don't have a dress for my party. But, I will. And, it's going to blow your little dress out of this world." She stated stubbornly. If there was one thing Adelyn didn't do, it was letting anyone else in the room look better than her. Fashion was her thing and Carmen couldn't have it. No one that I know dose.” Carmen said trying to calm her down. “ And your right you do need to tell her and it’s better sooner than later. Not that I am going to tell but if Michelle does know I am not sure how long he can keep it ”Carmen warned her. “ And yes I will keep your secret but not for anything I do not believe in telling others what people should tell them themselves. Maybe you will think about that next time you start a rumor.” Carmen told her honestly. “I know just seeing if you would admit to it and so you did.” Carmen said to her. “No I am not a lie director I am just paying attention. I can not only tell when people are lying I can also tell what they are thinking I can also tell how they are feeling for example you are feeling scared right now that I may tell someone you secret . I can also tell where objects are anywhere without me ever seeing the area just by knowing a person’s past. That is why I know what I am doing with the rest of my life.” Carmen explained to her.

Adelyn raised an eyebrow as Carmen explained how she could tell. She shook her head. "No offense, but you're really weird." She stated. She thought that was rude of her to do that. Carmen may not know a lot about girl code and all that crap but she did know for sure that you should never date the guy your best friend is like in love with that is just common knowledge. “And you know what I do want to be a crime cine investigator maybe I will have a case when you are murdered by someone. “ Carmen said a little evilly. But she thought it was a funny thought. She might be murdered by Luci or Alex when he finds out I know or well there are a lot of people I could see killing her. Carmen thought to herself.

"Besides, nice people get walked all over in this world, Carmen. And I do plenty of nice things for people." She stated stubbornly. She wasn't sure what Carmen was up to, but Adelyn wasn't taking any chances. She slid her sunglasses back down over her eyes and fixed her bangs as she listened to Carmen's next remark. She couldn't help but to glare. How was her personal life any of Carmen's business. "Look, I'm not a stuck up snob!" She started, 'And, how is it your business if I tell Luci or not? It's way more complicated than you think it is." She stated harshly. Maybe she shouldn't have been dating Alex behind Luci's back. But, she wasn't going to admit that to Carmen. She was content with the way things were. She would tell Luci eventually. Adelyn gasped, hearing Carmen's reply. "I'm not going to be murdered by anyone!" She stated, studying Carmen carefully. Now I know you are not a fairytale [/size] And dreams are meant for sleeping[/font][/size] And wishes on a star just don't come true[/size][/center] ”Can you give me one example of something you did nice to someone who was not your sister, luci, or Alex?” Carmen asked her not sure if she did or not. “I know how complicated it is but I have been in worse cases which ended badly and I do not want the same to happen to you.” Carmen told her in a nice settle voice trying to keep her temper down. “ Also remember I can basically hear your thoughts and you know it was wrong of you to date Alex and even worse you did not tell luci.” Carmen told her keeping a straight face. “Also I could name many a people who would murder you for example right now would be me and I am one of the only people in the world that could kill you and leave no forensics evidence but I am not going to because you are not worth it. Think about all the people you have hurt with rumors they are not going to forget that.” Carmen warned her. She did not know why she did she just did not want her to be surprised when something did happen to her if something ever dose. “ O and if you ask me what you did to luci and me were both pretty bad things if you ask me. ” Carmen told her.

If you took away Callista, Luci, and Alex... there really wasn't too many people she cared about. So why would she do something nice for someone who wasn't her friend? What had they done for her? "Oh, I know! Today at lunch I gave this one kid my nasty school lunch since they forgot their lunch money at home. See, I can be nice!" Adelyn smiled proudly. Okay, the only reason she gave up her lunch was because she was dieting, and she was lactose intolerant. She could eat ice cream alright, but she couldn't drink milk... and the school hadn't gotten in their order of juice yet. So, she really had no reason to keep the lunch. Carmen didn't need to know that part of the story, though. She hadn't told anyone she couldn't drink milk, anyways. "Why would you care if it happens to me? We hate each other, remember?" Adelyn questioned. "There's nothing wrong with me dating Alex. We're going to tell Luce... eventually." She argued. Why was Carmen so stubborn? Most people would have left by now. "So, what's your point? They're all just jealous. Besides, I've only ever started like... three rumors. That were bad." She added, with a shrug. Carmen was kind of intimidating, but Adelyn tried not to let it show. Instead, she folded her arms and studied Carmen again. "What have I even done to you that was that bad?" She added. She was a little surprise that she could really think of something though. “And just because we hate each other does not mean that I am not going to at least act nice to you. Pulse when you fight fire with fire you just get burned.” Carmen explained to her. She just wanted to warn her what would happen to her if she stayed the way she was. “I never said it was wrong it was just wrong that you are hiding it from luci that is what I meant by wrong.” Carmen told her she wished this chick would just give up and admit Carmen was right. “That is just what you want to believe but in reality no one is really jealous of you they just think you’re cool because that is what you make them believe.” Carmen told her.

She smiled, knowing that Carmen was probably surprised she'd done something nice. But, she could be nice. She had a much friendlier side around Alex, Luci and Callista. "When was the last time you did something nice for someone you didn't know very well?" Adelyn challenged. She rolled her eyes slightly as Carmen stated she was going to be nice to her even though they hate each other. "Well, haven't been burned yet. I don't count on it happening, either." She shrugged, clearly just trying to annoy Carmen at this point. "I'm not hiding it from Luci. I just.... haven't told her," Adelyn replied with a shrug. Okay, so it wasn't a total fib... but it wasn't the complete truth, either. She smiled, shrugging once more as Carmen stated people just thought she was cool. "And, strangely... I'm okay with that. They may think I'm cool... but deep down, they're just as jealous as you are Carmen," Adelyn smirked. I also volunteer at a homeless shelter and I help complete strangers at work every day. Shall I continue?” Carmen asked with a bit of an attitude trying to prove who was the nice one. “ And trust me you will be one day soon or far into the future.” Carmen warned her. “ You call it whatever you want but to me you have put this off for a long while. ”Carmen commented her little remark. “ And trust me i have no reason to be jealous of you I can have just about anything and everything you do if I tried.” Carmen told her. Most of it was true but the being popular part was iffy.

I may not be popular but by the time of my party June and I are going to be a little popular. And also I chose not to be popular because I do not want fake friends like June and Aiden Schwartz.” Carmen told her she was sick of these games. “ And know what we do come from different world you are the little prissy rich chick and I am the tomboy who does not want anyone to know she is rich so ya you are right about that.” Carmen told her being miss independent. “You just wait sister one day your daddy is not going to support your little shopping sprees or one of your so called friends is going to start a rumor about you and it won’t be pretty dude I have been there well except for the shopping part I don’t go on shopping sprees.” Carmen was loving this little fight the only thing that would make it easier is if it turned nasty and they started a fist fight that would make Carmen’s day.
