just wait
take a breath of air before you faint
take a breath of air before you faint
height: 5"7'
weight: Around 117lbs
build: Slender
eyes: A gentle, icy blue.
hair: Shoulder length, chestnut brown and straight with natural curls at the bottom.
distinguishing features: N/A
tattoos and piercings: Ears
personal style: Mia is usually known for her tendency to show up anywhere with her hair in a gigantic tangle, occasionally in knee-length sweats and a plain t-shirt. She is a girl who pays very little attention to her appearance. One brush through her curls and a jacket over her pajamas is sometimes enough. But of course, she can clean up nicely when she wants to. But her most common uniform to school is jeans, a white jacket and a plain colored halter top inside.
appearance: Mia is anything but petite, though she does not do many outdoor activities. She has chestnut brown hair and icy blue eyes, nearly always accompanied with a big, bright smile. Always finding it hard to close her mouth and wipe off those plastered turned-up lips, little miss Miranda Anderson makes hailstorms seem friendly. Mia has long, slim fingers because she draws and paints a lot, so she stretches them, resulting in the length. But her nails are very short due to her constant drawing, and the tips of her fingers are always black because of the pencil led and charcoal she uses to draw.

do you think you're right,wronged,
or do you think you'll fight?
or do you think you'll fight?
dislikes: confrontations, pressure, celery, blackmail, cheats, noise, parties, heat, fights, quarrels, frowning.
strengths: good at giving advice, good listener, dedicated, skilled at drawing, obedient, not stubborn but still loyal, gentle.
weaknesses: too quiet, shy, child-like, keeps to herself too much, way too superstitious, oblivious to obvious facts, clumsy.
greatest fear: being in crowds, heights, ghosts, elevators (long story), and dying alone.
greatest desire: to be a world-renown artist
habits and quirks: snapping at people when they're being too noisy, biting her bottom lip when she's drawing, giving puppy eyes when she’s sad, and daydreaming.
overall personality: Mia is as quiet as anyone can ever be. She is constantly engrossed in her drawing, coloring or sketching and will always forget what world she is in. She does not cope well under pressure and does not make a very good leader. She is happy to take orders from others, although she does have common sense and will make decent decisions when obeying commands.
This junior is a loyal friend, as quiet as she is. She sticks by them whenever they need it, but sadly not during a fight. She stays away from these events as she feels uneasy around it. Mia is not good at arguing and tends to run away, leaving a few people to think she is a coward. But she is not, she is just more of a peacemaker than a fighter.
In more than one way, Mia is like a child. Her voice is soft and quiet, never raising it unless she is very upset, annoyed or someone asked her too. She likes cute things too, like teddy bears and her pet, Bubblegum. She secretly has a cupboard full of plushies at home. Mia also has a habit of giving puppy eyes whenever she is sad. This makes her seem very immature, but Mia can’t help it.
Mia adores gymnastics and yoga as well, as it helps her calm her mind whenever she is stressed or annoyed. She is also very superstitious, and believes in things like luck, karma, horoscopes and charms. She is very gullible and tends to believe most things people say, thus she is very easy to play a trick on and not suspect it at all. You tell her the world will end tomorrow, and the next thing you know she’s trying to build a space-shuttle.

father: Jacob Evans, 48, photographer (history will explain the surnames)
siblings: None
extended family: None
pets: Bubblegum, sugar glider, two years old. (He's the size of four of Mia's fingers.)
nationality: American
birthplace: Las Vegas
history: A young aspiring model in Vegas met the man of her dreams at the first shot of her career. He helped with the shoot, moving around furniture, providing things for all the models, and assisting the photographers. He was about four years older than the nineteen year old girl. They got each other’s eyes that day. Or at least the girl felt something deep in her heart for this man who looked to be working hard and pretty well off.
The girl was a success after that one shoot, other brands quickly wanting her beauty for their own products. The girl was still so young but moving fast in the world of modeling. The girl and the man she met that day kept in contact and soon began to date. It seemed the man was working for the photographers as a part time job before he was to become a photographer himself. The two seemed like the best power couple in the girl’s mind. She was truly in love with his man. The moved in together, the girl’s apartment, and the man offered to become her manager, saying it would be best since he would soon become famous himself. The girl willingly accepted his offer, seeing no harm.
For three years they were together. The girl was at the top of her game. They moved from country to country for her career, being in Miami at the time. The man seemed to become more secretive. He told her he was in fact a photographer and even had portfolios be brought home from work. She had no real reason to doubt him since he was still in fact her manager and she still had all her money. It was when she found out she was pregnant that she brought up the idea of marriage. He opposed the idea, telling her they could take care of the child and raise it right without having to be married. The girl accepted, her love for him clouding her judgment.
It was when the child was two that things changed. Money seemed to be disappearing from the woman’s account. Not just small amounts but thousands of dollars. She brought it up to her husband/manager who said it was nothing she needed to worry about. But it was something. One night the child woke up to a noise in her room. It was her father who gave her a gold clip, placing it her hair. She didn’t know what was happening but her father was leaving. He said his good-byes and something along the lines of not knowing he would come to love the daughter he never planned on having. And with that, the man left with millions of his girlfriend’s money she had made over the years.
The man never truly loved the young model he met five years prior. He was a conman and saw the young girl as a way to get money. So he lived in a loveless relationship and became her manager to steal the money she would make. He was planning on staying with the girl for a little longer but the birth of his daughter changed things. He began to love his daughter like a father would and knew he had to leave before he became too attached. So he felt during the night that he needed to leave the country.
The little girl’s mother was left with barely any money. She spent a few months in a depression until realizing she had to support a little baby. She gained a hatred for the man she once loved and continued her modeling career with the help of her parents. But she loved her daughter none the less. To forget about the deceitful man, she took her daughter and moved to Manhattan.
Thus Mia grew up with her mother. They had a good life thanks to her mother’s career. The woman tried to teach her daughter independence from men. In elementary school, Mia felt different from the other students since all of them seemed to have fathers. She felt alone and started to isolate herself from others. The students thought she was ignoring them because she was a model's daughter and looked down on them and because she thought she was prettier than the other girls.
So she began to get bullied. The boys weren’t dumb enough to actually hurt her. They taunted her but the girls did physically bully her. She was pushed down and had her hair pulled many times. Mia lived like this without telling anyone, figuring it was her own fault since she didn’t have a father like everyone else.
Mia ended up drawing out what she felt instead of telling anyone. Her art spoke volumes of her emotions and never once did she feel like she bottle dthings up. She keeps her artwork in a box in her room to remember what feelings she had once had, and how when she looked back it seemed so crazy.
When she finally reached high school things were different. Everyone there was new and they didn't know about Mia's mother, either. This is something that made Mia happy. Some people liked her for who she was, and things were changing. This is where the chapter changes.
How will Mia's high school experience end?
