height: 5’5
weight: 115
build average, thin
eyes:When you first see Callie’s eyes, it’s hard to distinguish whether or not they are sea green or light grey. She definitely has a hard time answering the “what color are your eyes?” question. Like her sister, her unique and beautiful eyes are one of her best assets.
hair: Although she’s a natural brunette, Callie maintains a blonde look through frequently dying her hair and keeping only a few brown undertones. Long and thick, she rotates daily between curling, and straightening her hair. However, her favorite way to wear her hair is to make it slightly wavy.
distinguishing features: her eyes, bright smile, and long blonde hair.
tattoos and piercings: Callie’s ears are pierced once on each lob.
personal style: Callie has always had a great fashion sense. With a love for shopping and displaying her own style, it’s no wonder that Callie’s outfits stand out. She’s trained her eye to look for bright colors that reflect her personality such as pink, yellow, coral, baby blue, and other colors when she’s shopping. She usually sports a cute but “out there” look, making her memorable. In fact, people often remember her outfits more than they do her personality. But Callie doesn’t mind. She likes being known for looking cute. She doesn’t care as much about “what’s in style”, she just goes for things that call out to her.
appearance: Callie looks almost identical to her twin sister with a few exceptions. First and foremost her blonde hair, which she keeps dyed as it is more her style and provides a nice distinguisher between her and Addie. Callie also is an inch taller, weighs a few more pounds, and has two moles on her neck that are absent on her sister. The way Callie carries herself also reveals a difference between the two girls. Callie's stance is very feminine and often makes her look dainty. Even when saddled up with horses and walking around in jeans, she still manages to pull off looking like a lady. Sometimes people misjudge her because of this and don’t take her as a serious rider. But she’s quick to prove them wrong. When at school, Callie often comes off looking like just what she is; a shy, but very cute girl. Even though she is naturally quiet around strangers, she has a very wide smile which she is quick to show off. Her outfits speak for themselves; displaying a very girly, but sweet girl.

habits and quirks: Smiling and looking at the ground when she gets nervous, speaking with her hands, twisting a strand of her hair when she feels awkward (like her sister)
overall personality: Callie is a sweet, but slightly complicated girl. Often timid and afraid to speak out, Callie is shy around strangers and has a hard time being outgoing around cute boys. She gets very nervous when meeting new people, and is secretly terrified of high school. But her greatest strengths are her loyalty and sweetness, making her an excellent friend. She also has a fun-loving side which her cute outfits only hint at. While people would never guess it, Callie loves a good party. Callie really has a heart for adventure and a thirst for fun; her laughter is so contagious. And despite being extremely girly, one of her favorite ways to entertain herself is to ride horses.
She’s always loved riding and has been training for many years. Along with a passion for horses, she loves animals, just like her sister. She also loves nature and all of its wonderful elements. Her favorite season is summer, when she can enjoy the heat and relax in the sun. Her only complaint is there is more humidity in New York than in her former home state, California. However, she does love how much greener it is. Callie also has another love; singing. And although she prefers riding, she greatly enjoys performing and has been receiving voice lessons. Her favorite style of music is country, and as a result, she’s picked up a southern twang when she sings.
Callie enjoys looking her best and therefore devotes a lot of her time to shopping. She really has a deep love for fashion and has a very girly look. Her outfits are often a lot more outspoken than she in person is. The whole plane crash thing did nothing to help her shyness. Callie hated the whole ordeal and was excited beyond belief when she was rescued. Being stranded on an island was very traumatizing for Callie, especially since she didn’t have the comforts there that she has at home. But Callie did realize something very important on the island-how far apart she’s grown from her sister. It saddened her to realize that she never talked to Addie like she used to. So, on the island she made a resolution to become better friends with her twin again. Only, things haven’t been going so well lately. But Callie is silently determined. She feels guilty about not having a close relationship with Addie, even if they don’t always see eye to eye…
But don’t think that Callie is just the quiet girl that never talks; Callista is so much more beyond that! When she’s with people she’s comfortable with, Callie has a lot to say. And when she’s at home with her family, like her sister, Callie shows a different side of herself that no one else sees. She’s a lot more outspoken around her sister, and although she is patient with Addie, she doesn’t give up on issues she thinks are important. This can sometimes lead to fights.
Although Callie is known for being cute, she does have her weaknesses. She has a habit of listening in on gossip and making judgments because of it, even as minor as they may be. In fact, she knows more about people then they would guess. Callie also doesn’t cope well under pressure; her sweet heart can’t handle it. It will sometimes cause her to break down and act irrationally, and to make things worse, she is defiantly a crier. Finally, since Callie doesn’t like confrontation, she builds up anger. When this happens too long and too often, she will explode. When cute little Callie explodes there’s no telling what will happen, she can become one of the meanest people you know.

birthplace: Malibu, California
history: Callista Lyla James was born to Logan and Lyla James, two Hollywood success stories, on July 16th, 1994. But she didn’t come alone. Callista Lyla was born along side her twin sister, Adelyn Arbor, who would be her best friend for many years to come. To this day, fifteen-year-old Callie still treasures her early memories with Addie, although she’s slow to admit it. The two girls were deeply spoiled as they grew up in Malibu, California; their parents giving them everything they could dream of. It seemed like anything they could wish for would be given to them. However, with their parents busy with their music producing careers, the two girls were often left alone to spend time together. Callie had no complaints about this. It seemed like only her best friend, Addie, could really understand her. Sure, she had some other friends, but her bond with Addie was undeniably the strongest.
But then her parents decided it was time for a change. Saying goodbye to the sunny streets of Malibu, the James family moved to New York, so the girls would experience a more “normal” lifestyle. Although now Callie can hardly remember how she felt when she moved, at the time she was very angry. It only made matters worse when she and Addie started to drift apart. Addie started acting “older” and “more mature.” In fact, on several occasions Callie got her feelings hurt because she thought Addie was acting like she was “too cool” for her. So, Callie responded by hanging out with different friends and putting herself in an entirely different social circle. Eventually, the two rarely spoke at school.
Callie had been very hurt by her sister, but her anger drowned it out until eventually she forgot the reason she was mad at Addie in the first place. She just became indifferent to her sister. She was nice and patient at home with Addie, but didn’t trust her and wouldn’t share any of her secrets with her. It was nothing personal; Callie was just looking out for herself…not like Addie seemed to care. Then came the plane crash. Callie [i[hated[/i] it. She hated not having any luxuries. She hated not having her parents around. She hated feeling helpless. And most importantly, she hated how her sister wasn’t as comforting as she wanted her to be. But she didn’t entirely blame Addie for that, she also blamed herself.
So now, after returning home, Callie has set her mind on getting closer to her sister. She realizes that it may take some time- after all, the two are day and night compared to each other. But she has the patience. And despite her occasional disagreement with Addie, she’s bound and determined to eventually renew that bound they once had. The question is, will Addie ever let her? And will Callie ever get so tired of Addie’s antics that she’ll just give up? Only time will tell =)

It had been another early Saturday at the mall. Arriving amongst the early dwellers, Landon had shown up with the intent of buying a few things before leaving quickly. It was always better to arrive at the mall early. There were less people out and the store clerks seemed to be in a better mood. Perhaps it was the fact that in the earlier hours the clerks weren’t being bombarded by needy costumers; often many of them spoiled teenagers such as Landon Dallas himself, but with even more demands and preferences. Truth be told, Landon was the type of person who only pretended to like shopping. With his supposed “vanity” people would think he’d enjoy having tailors cater to his every need, but honestly, it was a little stressful to him; and awkward.
As much as he enjoyed it whenever he looked good, there was always that hidden insecurity that plagued him whenever he tried on an outfit. Thankfully enough, it was seldom that he was disappointed with his looks. But still. And thankfully, no other guys knew about his way of thinking. Insecurity was not something he wanted to flaunt. It was so…so…not him. And honestly, shopping was…boring; and for girls; definitely for girls. But he still liked to keep himself in style. So just about every week he spent an hour or two at the mall just to make sure all his outfits were up to date. This week was no exception. And being the son of a CEO came with a lot of benefits; the major ones having to deal with money. But, of course, there were also the negatives as well, which Landon did his best to ignore. And he did pretty well at it. For the most part, life was good for Landon Dallas Holloway.
Of course, this summer had been rather stressful. It began when he skipped out on the school trip to go visit France. He told everyone that it was a family thing, he liked making it sound like he was tight with his cool parents, but really he ended up in France by himself. He’d grown up there going every summer, his grandparents living there. That was back when his mom couldn’t get enough of him. Now it was a different story. It wasn’t that his mom didn’t like spending time with him, in fact Landon actually thought she was a very thoughtful person, she was just very independent and driven; not to mention busy, like his father. At least she wanted to spend time with Landon in France.
The original plan had been for his mom (Audrey) and him to spend a few weeks in Paris before heading to Lyon were his grandparents lived. Audrey had some “business” she had to attend to in Paris. Landon knew well it was probably shopping and investing in fashion lines. His dad was taking the jet to Monaco for “business” reasons as well, and would drop them off on their way over. He’d join them at the end of the month in Lyon. However, before they were about to depart, Audrey received “urgent news” from one of her charities and had to stay behind. She said she’d be in Paris within a day and that Landon could just go on ahead. So, he did. He flew with his dad into France and stopped in Paris. But his mom didn’t come in a day. She didn’t come in two. She showed up ten days later. It wasn’t like this sort of thing was new to him. He was used to being alone. Sure, perhaps the legality of it wasn’t proper, but when you were rich, you could stretch the rules. He was a sixteen year old living alone in Paris for more than a week. At least he had money.
Then came the first bit of news. One of the flights taking his school on their trip to Lundy Island had gone missing. It shocked him out of his mind. Landon was a pretty casual, and some would say cocky, guy. He wasn’t ready for such serious news. For awhile, he lived in denial, but that didn’t really help him. Half the people he knew had been on that flight, Alexander Carter, one of his closest friends, being one of them. Not to mention Massie Lee. His acquaintances in France got to see a different side of him. He wasn’t so happy anymore; less confident. He was…vulnerable. His parents hired the best psychiatrist. They knew he was probably traumatized. And he did his best to keep acting normal. In fact, he even had a huge birthday party. He looked happy. And he was starting to accept things…
Then the second bit of news came. His classmates had been found. What a strange feeling had overcome him then! He was so glad many of his friends had been found, but at the same time, he was worried. He didn’t want things to become awkward. He didn’t want things to change. He liked how things had been the previous year. And he didn’t want to have to act all….serious, all the time. He hoped the people he knew would return as they had left, and not have somehow changed themselves completely. So far, so good. Nothing major had happened, and Landon had been allowed to be himself. People, as far as he knew, weren’t too different. And he’d talked to a few plane crash survivors. Things were on the up side, and he told himself this was going to be a great year.
But then, of course, there was Massie. They’d had a…complicated relationship before she’d left. They fought, all the time; it seemed like that’s all they were known for. She annoyed him, and he did his best to make she felt the same way. But it was sort of a…friendly annoyance. And he sure didn’t want anything bad to happen to her, or at least, anything bad that didn’t come from him. He hadn’t spoken to her since she’d got back. He didn’t know how. He wanted to…but…he was just too nervous. It was difficult to explain. Every time he got the courage to call her he felt awkward and stupid and worried all too much that things wouldn’t go well…so he hung up. It was stupid, really. Why should he be the one to feel awkward? There was no logic behind it. In fact, at the current moment, he realized this and pulled his phone out of his pocket. Maybe now was the time…
No. Now wasn’t the time, if there would ever be one…Instead he glanced down to see what time it was. It was about ten am, and he’d been shopping for about an hour and a half. He concluded that it was about time he headed back home. He walked out of the section noted for its heavy price tags and headed into a more neutral area. He was headed toward the food court area when he saw a stand of funky sunglasses. He casually walked over and examined them. And entire stand was full of diverse sunglasses; each one looking unique in its own way. Some were big, some oddly shaped, some brightly colored, and some were….just weird. There were even extra mini stands of glasses. It seemed the thing was overflowing with irregularity. What an odd thing to sell.
Landon was reminded of clowns and comedians; picturing only people with a heavy sense of humor making any purchases at this stand. He was quick to realize that he would be embarrassed if someone he knew were to catch him looking at such things. However, he couldn’t help but quietly reach out his hand and grab one of the glasses. That’s when half the pairs of glasses surrounding his desired pair came crashing down, creating a racket of noise. Landon nervously looked around, trying to hide the fact that he was the source of all the noise, his face red. Time to flee the scene
