Ariel glanced at the clock, only a few more seconds until her French class let out. She usually cant find anything she absolutely hates, but she decided French was one of them. So why had she taken the class? Well it was necessary for graduating. She closed the book she was reading after sliding her 'Hello Kitty' bookmark in it and stared at the door, ready to get up as soon as she heard the bell. 'Why are you rushing to go to a lunch where no one will talk to you?' a voice in her head said to her but she ignored it, and her stomach rumbled lightly, seeming to side with her.
RIIING!
Ariel jumped out of her seat, hugging her book close to her chest, moving from the back of the room to the front of the room before the door had even opened. The french teacher said something about homework, but Ariel didnt catch it. She glanced around the filling cafeteria, darting to the front of the line while people worried about where and who'd they would sit with. She scrunched her nose at the gross, greasy pizza that was placed on her tray and she grabbed a cup of carrots, a small thing of ranch and a milk. She paid the lunch lady for the whole week and exited without speaking to her. 'I told you... No one wants to sit with you.' The voice spoke to her again, as she looked around for a place to sit, "Fine then, I shall sit by myself" speaking quietly to herself as she spotted an empty table near the wall, walking to it she nearly lost her lunch as some inconsiderate jerk bumped into her, she didnt respond to his apologies. Instead she set her lunch down at the table, opened her book, and started to eat her carrots.

Kennedy walked into the lunch room for the first time this year. She looked at the lunch line pizza? ... blegh. I think I'm going to barf she walked past the line to the vending machines where she bought a diet green tea. She twisted the cap and took a sip then closed the cap back up. She scanned the lunch room. She knew a bunch of people, but they all looked uninteresting, all she felt like doing was writing, or reading to keep her stomach from exploding. Hmm... maybe I'll find a table to myself, if someone wants to come talk to me they can Unfortunately the last empty table was just taken by a girl she didnt know. Kennedy thought she might be a freshman since she's never seen her. She noticed the girl reading so she figured she'd try to recruit her into literature club. Kennedy walked over to the lunch table where Ariel sat. "Hey, would you mind if I sat with you? I won't be much of a distraction so you can continue reading" Kennedy stayed standing across from her, one hand on the chair she was planning on sitting in. Her other hand held a notebook she wrote stories in and her chemistry textbook. outfit: www.polyvore.com/untitled/set?id=10216457

Ariel placed another carrot in her mouth, avoiding all contact with the gross pizza that laid before her, she flipped a page in her book, seeming to block out the would entirely. She sighed as she finished the chapter, only a few more and she would be done with this book, it was a depressing thought to her, she placed her book mark in back in her book, chewing on the rest of the carrot before looking up to see a girl standing there, she hadnt known how long she had been there or if she had spoken anything to her but she just shrugged. She figured she wanted to sit, her hand was on the chair and if she didnt want to sit she would have just taken the chair already without asking.
Ariel knew the girl to be Kennedy or something close to it, she often got names mixed up. Ariel was sure she had a gym class with her Ariel's freshman year, but she kept to herself and out of sight, often times skipping. She hated gym with a passion, not because she wasnt good, oh no she was very good, no one just ever picked her for anything.

Kennedy cleared her throat and just took a seat. I wonder why she's not talking.. maybe shes upset about something. Kennedy noticed how the girl wasn't touching her pizza. "The school's food is pretty gross isn't it?" she said with a chuckle. Kennedy placed her books to the side and hung her bag on the back of her chair then turned to face the girl again. Her face seemed farmiliar, but she didn't know her name. She knew she has seen her before though so she must not be a freshman. "I'm Kennedy, whats your name?" Kennedy noticed that she but her book away so she was hoping was wasn't annoying her by talking. Kennedy loved to talk to people. Everyone seemed to ba talking around them, catching up fropm the summer and showing eachother their schedules. Kennedy smiled and waved to her brother who was standing by a table on the other side of the cafeteria. He hated having his little sis talk to him in school. Their relationship was to be strictly an out-of-school family thing, or whatever he called it. He made a face at her and she smiled, then looked back at the girl she now sat with. "What grade are you in?" she added to her question outfit: www.polyvore.com/untitled/set?id=10216457
