[/b] anyone...as it is openThe sun was bright and warm, there was a cool breeze blowing around the courtyard as Kat sat on bench, all relaxed while listening to her ipod. It was a going away present from her parents and her father had uploaded all her and the family’s favourites. She was humming to herself, it was a happy tune. It reminded her of home and of the island; it had still been only a few monthis since leaving the island and having to return home and come back to Eastside High, but she was missing the island dearly. While she was unpacking her things, before she came outside to enjoy the sunshine, Kat found a letter and some pictures from her past. Her mother must have slipped them into her school while she was looking back at home. One of the pictures were of her and Scott; Scott Adams – her cousin. Then she closed her eyes and turned her head to the sun above her...
Next to Kat on the bench was her school bag, she had already bought some of the books ready for this school year and her idea was to get a heads up by reading some chapters while all the other students were moving in, getting to know each other, meeting old friends and making new ones. She looked down to her book bag, slowly unzipped the zip and removed the first book. It was one of her Photography books; ‘Using Black and White Film for Optimal Impact’. She was not looking forward to that course, as she had done an entire project using black and while photos in her Sophomore year, she aced the project though! She opened the book and started to read, it was rather basic at the start of the book which irritated Kat immensely as she was not back in the Sophomore year now; she was basically an adult! She gave out a loud sigh and slapped the book shut with anger…_______________________________________________
