After being rescued from the island, Alex hadn't seen Adelyn since then. He was sad, because he missed her. It had been a long time since the two had made contact, and he was thinking it was because of Luci. Maybe it wasn't. Maybe he wasn't good enough for her. Today though, would be the day he found out what was going on between them. They couldn't keep each other a secret forever. Alex soon found himself in the front of Addie's house, with a single white rose in his hand. He was told that the white rose has come to symbolize purity, innocence and secrecy. That's one of the reasons he bought it for her. It basically symbolized their relationship.

He knocked on her door, shifting from one foot to the other uncomfortably. He bit his lip, heart beat increasing at the thought of seeing her again. Its like they had lived thousands of miles away, and were only able to speak over phone or something else like that. Like, they weren't able to see each other in person. Alex couldn't take that. He really.. loved her.

[/b] The girl beamed, instantly pulling him into a hug. A mix of emotions washed over her as she did so. Most of all, though, she was excited She hadn't seen him in weeks, and was also clearly surprised. Her heart had quickened just at the sight of him. She'd never realized how much she had missed him until he was standing on her doorstep. At the same time, however, she felt slightly uneasy. There was a lot she'd been keeping from him lately, and wasn't exactly sure how to tell him.

Alex was happy to see that Addie was the first to open to door in her house -- and that she was home. There was no car in the driveway and the place looked kind of deserted. "Hey!" He smiled, hugging her back, and snuggling into her. He breathed in her scent and kissed her cheek, softly. "I missed you." He whispered, pulling away a bit to hand her the white rose. "I felt like I haven't seen you in ages." He replied, pushing back a strand of her hair affectionately.

[/b] She pulled herself out of her thoughts, whispering her reply as he pulled back. She was a bit surprised as he handed her a white rose. Instantly, however, she grinned once more and blushed slightly. He was always so sweet.

"You didn't have to bring me a rose," Adelyn's gaze shifted to him, still grinning as she let him brush a strand of her hair behind her ear. "But, I love it, thank you." She twirled the rose between her fingers, before glancing back to Alex. She was tempted to kiss him right there, but she restrained herself. Someone might see them, and cause problems... and, she still had the uneasy feeling in the pit of her stomach. She needed to tell him what was on her mind. "It has been a while, hasn't it?" She frowned slightly, as she considered this. It'd been a long while since they'd been alone together.

Stepping back, Adelyn motioned to the house. "So, anyway, come on in..." She held the door open and shifted from foot to foot uneasily as she waited for him to come in.
