  Joey couldn't believe that he actually moved back to New York. Home of traffic, crowds, famous people and the one thing that mattered to him; June Madison. He couldn't stop thinking about her and now he had a plan, a plan to find her again. He found her address in the phone book and realized that she hadn't moved since he had last been at her house. Joey drove down the street towards her apartment thinking about what he would say. He pulled into the lot and slammed his truck door as he got out.
He walked into the building and headed towards June's door. Joey lifted his fist but hesitated what was he going to say, he had nothing to give to her. He looked around until he saw flowers in a vase on a table. The sixteen year old walked over grabbed the flowers and dried the stems. He skidded back over to the door and knocked slightly hoping that it was June who answered the door instead of her dad or her mom. Joey held tighter on the stems as he waited for the door to open.

Joey held tighter on the flowers when he noticed barking meaning that someone could be home. He smiled from ear to ear when June opened the door. She looked a lot different from when they were in middle school. She was taller and leaner. Joey could really tell that she had matured a lot but if you looked close enough he could see the young June. But the one thing that stayed the same was her eyes. Joey loved June's eyes more than anything.
He smiled and responded "I just moved back from Texas and I decided to come over and see you." He slowly gave her the flowers and said "These are for you." Joey glanced inside the apartment and noticed some difference. He also noticed that they still had Friday the dog. Joey always loved Friday.

She was tempted to hug him, but she held herself back. She knew it would only increase her mixed emotions. Then, June took notice to the flowers. Her smile remained as she slowly took the flowers from him. "Thank you," She replied softly. Stepping back, June set the flowers on the nearby end table. Friday started to dart toward the door, but she quickly scooped him up. She then motioned to the apartment. "Come on in," She offered, shifting Friday to her left arm, she picked back up the flowers and pushed the door open with her right hand. She was still rather surprised he was here.
