Hello everyone! So, I’ve got Diann here. She’s a complex character, quite different from my other ones, but I love her all the same. She NEEDS some plotting. Here’s the low down on her: She’s a junior, and sixteen. She’s artistic, witty, and reliable. She’s also very passionate about dance, and when I say passionate, I mean PASSIONATE. It’s not her hobby, it’s her life, and she’s very talented. She actually has a thing against preppy “plastics” who think they’re better than everyone—so if you fit that category, look to the enemy section. Ironically enough, she’s a cheerleader, not because she necessarily enjoys being around her fellow cheerleaders but because she’s good at it. Generally, she’s not the overwhelmingly happy type, but when she dances she can be a completely different person.

She also has quite the sad history, and used to be really rebellious, but since she’s moved to New York, she’s calmed down a bit. She’s a very ambitious, loyal, and outspoken girl. The Friends! Diann generally does well with the rebellious type but she’s fair. I can see her being friends with even the most preppy person, if they shared a good experience and her friend isn’t too arrogant.

Diann is very loyal, and will give a lot to her friends and expect practically nothing in return. That’s just how she rolls. She will sit and listen to a friend’s problems for hours, and won’t hesitate to stand up for a friend. However, she does sometimes have problems opening up to people; she’s got a hurtful past and she’s learned to keep personal things to herself.

Step right up, enemies. Diann’s ready for you! Diann’s just the type of personality where I don’t know if it’s possible for her not to have at least one enemy. When she gets mad, she’s confrontational, and she makes it no secret that she has a thing against what she thinks are “plastics.” She’s outspoken, so if she has a problem with you, you’ll most likely know it.

Diann also hates people who are rude without being provoked. So even if you are plastic, she probably won’t specifically be rude to you without being provoked first. She’ll probably meddle in people’s business too if she sees injustice. So I can really see why people wouldn’t like her (but I love her! Lol).

LOVERS. Well, this one’s complex. Diann’s been hurt in her past, so this needs to be handled with caution. I can see her having a “make out” buddy whose she constantly on and off with. He’s really just toxic to her, but she doesn’t possess any deep feelings for him. It’s bad news. But as far as some one more long-term goes, she really needs someone who’s soft; someone who will accept her and not hurt her. It doesn’t matter if he’s preppy or not. I think it would be a great plot, but I don’t have room to write it all here!

Yeah, I agree. They should be friends! They seem compatible. They both seem to dislike people who are stuck up, and neither girl seems scared of confrontation. I don’t know how close they would be; Diann will be there for her when Carmen needs her but will still keep her distance at the same time. She’s just like that. She keeps her personal life personal. But other than that, they’d be good for each other. Unless you want to come up with more of a history that would change their dynamic. Either way, I'm good.
