Sadly Jackson cannot ski, so he decided not to attend the trip. Now it has been two trips that Jacks has now missed. He's a senior; he should be the king of the school, however he is now sitting in the school library catching up on some homework and looking for colleges to attend. He had his laptop upon the table in front of him. He was clicking back and forth between Arizona State, Penn State and Gallaudet University. It would not be too long and he was be a Freshman in College. This kind of freaked Jacks out. He would truly be leaving his mom and the rest of his family here in New York. Jacks was suuposed to be doing his English Lit and Maths homework. But his mind was not really on it. Jacks was not wearing his aids while he sat in at the table, so his world was completely silent. He had been very silent recently. Jackson's aids were not working as well as they used to; his hearing was getting worse and he worried about it. The sun was slowly breaking through clouds outside and it flashes onto Jacks' face. It made him jump. He sighed as he looked out of the nearest window. He smiled to himself. 'It is going to be hard' he thought to himself. It was going to be hard, but Jacks knew that he could make the most of it.
