height: 5'5
weight: 124 lbs
build short and slim with slight curves
eyes: brown
hair: Vaughn is actually a natural blonde, which came as quite a surprise to both of her parents who were natural brunettes. apparently she got her hair color from her paternal great-grandmother who was also a natural blonde. however, she's switched up her hair color over the years. at the moment, she's partial to both strawberry blonde and light brown with blonde highlights.
distinguishing features: she has freckles that tend to pop out randomly and she's been told she has a bit of a mousey nose.
tattoos and piercings: As far as piercings, her ears are pierced twice and she recently had her belly button pierced. She also has a shooting star tattooed on her right hip, her daughter's name tattooed on her right foot
personal style: Vaughn's style tends to vary depending on her mood that day. Vaughn can go from vintage one day, to glamour the next, and then totally laid back. She has a very feminine quality to her clothing stye. Even when she's completely in her relaxed mode and she has some boyish type clothes on, there's still something very feminine about it when she's wearing it. She doesn't follow the crowd. Her style is her own and that's a fact.
appearance: Vaughn was born the spitting image of her mother, something she takes pride in. Her hair is usually kept at shoulder length and is naturally wavy. Her eyes are a stunning brown shade, framed by long eyelashes and they seemed to be staring into you. Her skin is white, as she is Caucasian [50% American, 50% British]. At a young age she was extremely pale. Despite the fact she has spent many hours out in the sun since being a child, she is still pale though she isn't as pale as she once was. She has freckles sprinkled random places around her body and when she's in the sun they even appear on her face. She stands at 5'5, so as you can see she isn't very tall. This always confused her since her mother was a decent height, about 5'8 and her father stood at 6'1. Despite the fact she loves to eat and despite her short stature, she is very slim, a healthy size. This is due to her fast metabolism. She's a natural beauty and doesn't wear much make up. However, when she does wear make-up, she's...well stunning. Basically, she has the ability to make you question whether or not you look okay, whether or not your boyfriend is staring at her, or whether or not he's looking at you but thinking of her. Yeah, she can definitely make a girl feel inferior.

overall personality: Humor Above All Else Vaughn loves to laugh. When she laughs others laugh. She has that type of infectious laugh. Its above a giggle but not a full on cackle. Make a funny joke: she laughs. Trip and fall: she laughs. Laughing is natures medicine, that's the way Vaughn sees it. She's been like that since she was a baby. She was always giggling about something. Sometimes someone will say something and no one will get it. No one except for Vaughn that is. She has a way of cheering people up with her laughter. She just has the gift. Besides, life is way too short to be serious about every little thing.
Sarcasm:Natures Reality Check Vaughn can ooze sarcasm. Say something stupid: prepare to be targeted. Irritation is when she uses sarcasm the most. She's also likely to be super sarcastic when she's just encountered her stepmom or stepsisters. Whenever she's upset or pissed off, sarcastic remarks will come flying out of her mouth. She isn't necessarily trying to hurt people when she's sarcastic. Most days she just has a lot of pent-up frustrations inside and she just has to let them loose. On the days when she's not upset and she's just being sarcastic because its needed, her remarks are funny, well some of them are anyway. Everyone has a sarcastic flavor right? Some people are just more open about it. Sometimes you just may need a reality check.
Extreme Volume Vaughn is loud. No when I say loud I mean LOUD! That's most likely because she grew up with a relatively loud family, or mother at least. Her mother was always extremely loud and outgoing, while her father was a bit quieter. When she's laughing you can here her a mile away. If she's pissed, they can hear in the town over. The fact that she's loud just adds to her outgoing attitude and her overall personality. At least if something caught on fire, you'll know.
Dare to Be Afraid[/i] You know the saying "Big things come in small packages," right? Well this expression fits Vaughn to a tee. She may be small in size, but don't let that fool you. She's fierce in every way. She can seriously be scary. She's extremely protective, especially when it comes to Ashley-Lynn. Mess with her cub and the lioness will attack without hesitation. The same goes for her friends. If you decide to cross her, well it's your funeral. Sometimes, it's just best if you stay out of her way. That is if you want to live. If you have a death wish, go ahead and piss her off. I dare you.

history: On December 2nd of 1990, at approximately 1:15 AM, after 17 hours of labor, a little baby girl with the tiniest bit of blonde hair entered the world. She belonged to Gordon and Lisa Foster. They had been trying for their baby girl for a few years even though the doctors told them that it would likely not happen because Lisa chances of producing children were extremely slim. So, finally, after a few years of no progress, Vaughn Zalea Foster was born. She was named for Lisa's brother who had died at a young age, and Lisa's favorite plant, the Azalea. The couple was thrilled. They finally had their miracle child.
The day the Fosters took little baby Vaughn home was the happiest day of their lives. The two just couldn't get enough of their precious baby girl. Most things that new parents would find extremely annoying and tiring, they did not. Or at least Lisa did not. Gordon was at work most of the time, leaving Lisa at home with the baby. Of course Lisa didn't mind. She loved being a stay at home mom. She spent plenty of time with Vaughn when she was a baby, as well as she got older.
One of Lisa's passions was gardening. When Gordon and Lisa, moved from Oxford, England to Connecticut in the States, Gordan made sure to get a big house with a large garden. Because of this, Vaughn was constantly in the garden with her mother even when she was just a baby. In fact she made her first crawl and took her first steps in her mother's garden. Lisa even designated a little section of the garden for Vaughn when she was 6 years old. Vaughn was a natural gardener, or so Lisa often said. Her lilies sprouted like weeds. "You have a green thumb," Lisa always said. She had no idea how right she was.
When Vaughn was 14 years old, she noticed something that changed in her mother. She seemed to be sick, weak almost. Gordon seemed to notice it too and finally convinced Lisa to see a doctor. May 12th was the day that Lisa was diagnosed with breast cancer. The family was extremely upset. That night, Vaughn cried herself to sleep. Throughout the entire time, Lisa was strong. She never let Erin see her cry or even frown. She wanted her daughter to be strong. She needed her to be strong. Even with the chemotherapy, Lisa spent her time in the garden with her daughter trying to be strong. She was living everyday as if it were her last. Even during her weakest days she didn't give up. It broke Vaughn's heart and even though he rarely showed it, it broke Gordon's heart as well. The last week of her life, Lisa called Vaughn into her room. She presented her with a brand new baby puppy. She told her she was hers to remember her by when she was gone. On July 23rd, a year after being diagnosed with breast-cancer, Lisa died in her sleep.
Vaughn was truly devastated. She had lost her mother and her best friend. The day of her mother's death, Vaughn decided to name her puppy Lily, in honor of her mother's favorite passion and her own favorite flower. Instead of bringing Vaughn and her father closer, which they had never really been, it drove them farther apart. Her father threw himself into his work to comfort himself, instead of trying to comfort his only daughter. Vaughn withdrew into herself a lot after that. Things just wouldn't be the same. The only thing that stayed the same was her love gardening.
A mere six months after her mother's death, Gordon shocked his daughter by announcing he was getting re-married to a woman by the name of Tammy. What was her father thinking? That's all that Vaughn could think about, especially when she met Tammy. She was nothing but a blonde bimbo barbie. So what if she was a real estate executive. And her two daughters were definitely no better. Kandi and Kassi. Vaughn could only think of the fact that she was in pure hell. She couldn't even talk to her father about it. It wasn't as if they were that close. He probably wouldn't listen anyway. He'd just take Tammy's side on everything. Like when she wanted to redo the entire house because she hated the decor, even though Vaughn's mom had done it. Gordon just let her saying maybe they did need a change. The one thing that Vaughn refused to let her change was her mom's study and the garden. Tammy and her daughters hated the garden. It was filled with bugs and dirt so why would anyone like it. Vaughn put up a fight though and refused to back down. So finally, even though they didn't want to, the girls let the garden subject though. At least Vaughn won something. Then things got just a bit worse.
David Cliff was Vaughn's first serious boyfriend. He seemed to help make life better after Vaughn''s mother died and her dad re-married. He was years old 18 years old and a senior at her high school. He was one of the most popular guys at her school and she was amazed that he had taken an interest in her. They quickly began dating, but he also took her around a bad crowd. She got into drinking and partying, which caused her to distance herself from her father even more. Pretty soon, Vaughn was staying out all night. She fell in love with David and she would have do anything for him. When she was 16, she got pregnant. David wanted nothing to do with the baby, claimed that it wasn't his, and dumped her. She was devastated. She turned to her father for support and he tried as best he could to provide it. However, Vaughn felt more alone than she ever had. Her stepmother and sisters made a point to treat her even more like trash. Nine months later, Vaughn gave birth to her daughter Ashley Lynn Michelle Foster. Once again, something that should have brought her and her father together, only seemed to drive them farther apart.
However, the last straw was when her father forgot about the anniversary of her mother's death. That day they were supposed to visit her grave and put a bunch of her favorite flowers from her garden there. Tammy, however, had different plans. She decided to host a big dinner. She invited co-workers, friends, neighbors, everyone. The dinner was supposed to happen the next day, the anniversary of Lisa's death. When Vaughn reminded her father of their own plans, he hesitated, took one look at Tammy's pouty face and said that they'd do it another time. Vaughn was enraged. How could her father act as if Lisa never existed.
Vaughn knew that she could no longer live in that house. She packed up her and Ashley's things and left in the middle of the night, with both Lily and Ashley attached to her hip. She grabbed flowers from her mother's garden and then headed into cab she called had called. No one would ever miss her. Or at least that's what she thought. Her first stop was her mother's grave. She placed the flowers down and promised to come back. She'd never forget her. She asked the cab driver to take her to the bus station. She didn't know where she was going but anywhere but here was good. Wait. She remembered that her mother's sister lived in New York with her husband. Her Aunt Coree had always been her favorite aunt. When you got to the bus station she paid for a ticket to New York City and before she knew it, she was standing on her aunt and uncles doorstep. they of course let her in and after a long, slightly heated discussion with her father, it was decided that Vaughn would stay there.
That was a little less than a year ago. Now, Vaughn and her two year old daughter Ashley live happily in New York. Of course there are some problems, as there usually are with teen mothers, but she has the support of her Aunt, Uncle, and cousins. She even has a better relationship with her father.

roleplay sample:
Avielle found herself rather bored. There was nothing to do at the manor, but spend time with Fleur. Not that she didn't love the little puppy, however, she didn't really say much of anything now did she? Avielle found herself with no one to talk to that night and nowhere to go. That's when she got the brilliant idea to go to the lake. Crescent lake represented the very thing she loved about living in a small town. Mainly because it was named after her most favorite thing in the world, the moon. Even before she had been turned into a werewolf she had loved the moon. When she was little she would always sneak outside and find a spot in the garden and just sit there looking up at the moon. Of course, growing up in 18th century France, that wasn't very becoming of a lady and she always got a speech from her mother bout her behavior. That never stopped her from doing it though.
Making up her mind that that was were she wanted to spend the night or at least a few hours, she grabbed her house keys and car keys and drove down to the lake. As soon as she got there, she shut the car off and grabbed the spare blanket she always kept in the trunk of her car. Avielle took one look up at the moon and closed her eyes, practically bathing in it. She went down to the edge of the lake and laid out the blanket. She slipped off her shoes and laid out on top of it and looked up at the moon. Everything seemed to be alright at that moment. She began day dreaming about her life in France when she was a little girl. She really did miss it. It wasn't just because her family had been apart of the nobility. No, she just loved it in general. Having the country side to roam, spending time with her brother, sister and their individual families. Everything had seemed so perfect then and in a blink of an eye it had been taken away from her.
Letting out a deep sigh, she grabbed a cigarette and lit it with her favorite lighter. Smoking was such a bad habit, but it wasn't like it was going to kill her. She inhaled deeply, letting the smoke fill her lungs, and then let it out in a stream of smoke from the side of her mouth. That was when she heard a noise in the water. Flicking the ashes on the ground and stood up walking towards the lake, where the noise had come from. She put the cigarette between her lips and went to the edge of the lake. She saw the silhouette of a girl in the moonlight. She looked like she was drinking from the bottle. A human perhaps? If it was she was utterly foolish to be at the lake at this time of night, especially since it was illegal to swim in the lake. From what she could tell, the girl was extremely attractive.
"Care to share?" Avielle called to the girl with a smirk on her face. Maybe she would have someone to play with after all.
